Dipika Kakar first pre Eid celebration husband Shoaib Ibrahim
TV actress Dipika Kakar, best known for her role in Sasural Simar Ka, has kickstarted her first pre-Eid celebration with husband Shoaib Ibrahim. The duo, who tied the knot on February 2, 2018, visited Mohammed Ali Road in Mumbai with family. From relishing delicious dishes to clicking selfies with fans, Dipika and Shoaib were all smiles for the camera.
Donning a white salwar suit, Dipika who has converted to Islam and changed her name to Faiza post marriage to Shoaib Ibrahim, made a stunning appearance.
Meanwhile, husband Shoaib Ibrahim looked dapper in a khaki coloured cargo, a black tee with a scarf.
The TV actor also shared a picture with beloved wife Dipika Kakar on social media. “Its always a good day when you are by my side”, he captioned the picture.
After dating for few years, Shoaib Ibrahim finally proposed to Dipika on the sets of Nach Baliye. The actor currently features in a show, Jeet Gayi Toh Piya Morre.
We must say that the actress has totally blended in her new family.
In one picture of their wedding invitation card, Dipika Kakar’s name was written as ‘Faiza’ which sparked conversion rumours. In a recent interview, Dipika admitted to have been converted to Islam. But she refused to reveal any further details about her conversion.
In an interview to Times of India, she said, “It’s true I have done it, but why and when I have done it, don’t think it needs to be talked about. I think it is a very personal matter and I don’t think I need to talk about it openly in front of the media. For the audience and media we are actors have always shared everything. All our happy moments we have shared with you all, but this I think is a very personal space and I don’t give anyone the permission to enter the space. Definitely, it is true and I am not denying it. I am very happy and proud that I have done it for myself and my happiness. My family was with me in this decision and my intentions were not to hurt anyone. This is my decision.”
Shoaib has always supported Dipika in ups and downs and even Dipika has done the same for Shoaib, but they realised their love for each other when Shoaib quit the show ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ in 2013.
They took time for marriage and spent time with each other before they tied the knot. And after seven years they decided to get hitched and it resulted in a beautiful marriage.
