Bigg Boss runner-up Hina Khan trolled for dressing ‘shamelessly’ during Ramadan
Trolls couldn’t land with a better job than to pin on celebrities on the social media. Yesterday, we brought to you a story of how Sonam Kapoor is being criticised online for wearing Mangalsutra around her wrist. It’s not the first time she was trolled. The Veere Di Wedding actress has faced the wrath of trolls for more than once in the past few months. On the similar lines, Hina Khan is also not new to this new trending of social media trolling. The actress has been trolled time and again by the so-called moral police on the social media.
Recently, the Bigg Boss 11 runner-up posted few pictures and video of an event, in which she is seen wearing a glittery black dress. In the video, the actress is flaunting her dress and blowing a kiss in the end. Soon after the shared the video, fans started lambasting her for dressing inappropriately during the pious month of Ramadan.
The comments on Hina Khan’s post and on every actress’ post, for that matter, reflect sadly of people’s perspective of women. She is not the only actress who was trolled for her Instagram posts during Ramadan. Last year, Dangal actress Fatima Sana Shaikh was also lambasted for wearing a swimsuit during Ramadan. Why so much scrutiny on women’s clothes? We never see actors or male celebrities being trolled such frequently.

For the uninitiated, Hina Khan is a popular TV actress who essayed the role of Akshara in Star Plus’ daily soap Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Post leaving the show, she took part in reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi hosted by Rohit Shetty. Her stint in Bigg Boss 11 became a talking subject for the time the show aired on the TV. Later, she was awarded with Dadasaheb Phalke Excellence Award for reality show Bigg Boss 11.
