Television's most popular reality show Bigg Boss is all set to return with its 13th season. The controversial reality show hosted by Salman Khan, which has been running every year since 2006, is coming back with Bigg Boss 13. Last year's season Bigg Boss 12 was not a success. In fact, the TRP numbers were so low that at times it slipped off from the Top 10 spots of the TRP ratings. Hence, keeping that in mind, the makers of Bigg Boss have decided to give the reality show a makeover. This time, a brand new set will be erected for the show at an entirely new location.
Most of the Bigg Boss sets have been designed by Bollywood director Omung Kumar. The shooting used to take place in Lonavala. The PM Narendra Modi biopic director has confirmed that this time the Bigg Boss set will have a new location. Talking to a portal, Omung Kumar confirmed the news. Currently, he is concentrating on Bigg Boss Marathi, while Bigg Boss 13 is in talks.
Omung Kumar's wife has been the det director for the past seven years. This year's theme has not been decided. Last year, rumours sparked that the set is being moved to a new location, but that kind of thing didn't really materialise.
Bigg Boss 12 had biggies like Dipika Kakar, Anup Jalota, Sreesanth and others as the celebrity contestants of the show. Despite the star power, the season proved to be lukewarm in terms of TRP numbers. Let's see what th makers will do to ensure higher TRP ratings this time.
