Bigg Boss 12: This Ishqbaaz actress is the first contestant of Salman Khan's show
After a successful 11th season, popular reality show Bigg Boss 12 is all set to have its grand premiere on 16 September. Now, the name of the first contestant of the TV show is out. TV actress Srishty Rode, best known for her role as Fiza in Ishqbaaz, has signed on the dotted line is all set to enter the controversial reality show Bigg Boss 12 along with beau Manish Naggdev, latest reports suggest.
Srishty Rode joined Indian TV and made her acting debut with the show, she has starred in several shows including Shobha Somnath Ki, Saraswatichandra, Chotti Bahu (season 2) and Punar Vivah – Ek Nayi Umeed. She was last seen in Ishqbaaz.
The upcoming season of Bigg Boss 12 will feature a mix of celebrity and commoner jodis and will continue to be hosted by superstar Salman Khan.
Meanwhile, Salman has blocked his dates to shoot the promotional videos for the show in the first week of August. The venue of the shoot would be Mehboob Studios.
According to reports, 6 celebrity couples and 7 common man jodis will participate this year. The couple could be husband-wife, boyfriend-girlfriend, siblings, mom-son or any other relation.
A tentative list of the contestants is doing rounds and it is learned that the celebrities who are likely to participate in the Bigg Boss 12 are comedian Siddharth Sagar and girlfriend Subuhi Joshi, actress Vibha Chibber and her son Puru have also been approached for mom-son jodi, sisters Shafaq and Falaq Naaz might enter the show and ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’s Sandhya aka Deepika Singh have also been approached. Meanwhile, there is also buzz that the real-life couple Debina Bonnerjee and Gurmeet Choudhary are in talks.
Bigg Boss 12 would be premiering sooner than expected, on September 16, according to reports and will wrap up by the last week of December, giving way to stunt-based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 9, that will start airing in January.
