The on-air date of Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 12 is getting closer. This year, there is immense speculation about who all will be entering the house. There are reports that Shaleen Bhanot – Dalljiet Kaur, Srishty Rode and Scarlett M Rose are some of the confirmed names for the show. Amid the excitement, the Bigg Boss 12 makers are changing several things in the upcoming seasons to keep the buzz alive. We have listed out all the important updates for you.

Bigg Boss 12 to launch in Goa and not Lonavala

This year’s season will start with a bang in September and Viacom is already gearing up for its big launch party. This season’s launch will be totally different from the others as the makers are set to organise a party in Goa and not Lonavala, of all places. Salman will be present and kick-start this season on a grand scale. Sun, sand and surf will be the theme of the event and even the invites will be custom made keeping the same in mind.

Talking about the change,, Pinkvilla reported a source saying, “Every year COLORS comes up with unique themes and exciting ideas to launch their marque and beloved show Bigg Boss. This year around also the channel came up with the fun idea of launching the upcoming Bigg boss season 12 in Goa with none other than Salman Khan, the host. The invite too, with it’s beachy feel is a total eye-pleaser and specifies a dress code, calling the invitees in sunny and colorful clothing”.

Celebrities won’t enter in Jodis

For those who don’t know the theme of Bigg Boss 12 is vichitra Jodi. The title is pretty self-explanatory, too. This season will have couples entering the famed house. About 21 contestants enter Bigg Boss’s house while there will be some in pairs, few will enter as single entities and will be paired on the show. 

The makers sure know how to turn up the entertainment quotient a notch higher with every single season. There is a lot of contention on who will be shortlisted to be on this controversial reality show. The makers are known to not reveal anything until the final day!

Bigg Boss 12 will premiere on September 16 on Colors.
