The show flagged off on September 16 but before superstar Salman Khan hosted the grand premiere of the show, the much-awaited contestant list surfaced on the internet. Srishty Rode
Srishty is well-known name in the TV industry. The actress is famous in every household for playing Radha on season two of Choti Bahu. She was last seen in Star Plus' popular show Ishqbaaz. Just recently she acted as the bridesmaid to her best friend Rubina Dilaik at her wedding.
Karanvir Bohra
Karanvir is another popular face in Indian television. He rose to fame after playing Dhruv in Indian fantasy sitcom Shararat. He has also appeared on shows like Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Dil Se Di Dua... Saubhagyavati Bhava? and Naagin 2. The actor was blessed with two little twin angel whom he named Bella and Vienna.
S Sreesanth
Sreesanth’s name gets associated with Bigg Boss every year. It is suggested that the former cricketer will enter the house but this time this is actually happening. Sreesanth has often found himself in the eye of the storm. An IPL spot-fixing case in 2013 saw him go behind bars. Other than being a cricketer, Sreesanth is famous for his dance moves and participated in dance reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa.
Dipika Kakar
Dipika Kakar is an Indian television actress and was shot to fame from her TV serial Sasural Simar Ka. She portrayed the character of Simar in the daily soap. Dipika Kakar was also the part of dancing show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa season 8. She also participated in Nach Baliye 8 with her husband Shoaib Ibrahim.
Anup Jalota
One of India's most popular Bhajan singers seems to be a total misfit for the show generally known for fights and showdowns. But seems like Anup is all set to break his own image. The twice-married singer will be seen with his student, or should we say girlfriend, Jasleen Matharu in the show.
Neha Pendse
Born and brought up in Mumbai, she began her career in the entertainment industry in Zee Marathi’s Bhagyalakshami. Apart from working in TV series, she has been a part of Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi films. She rose to fame with her role in comedy drama May I Come In Madam?
Six Jodis of Bigg Boss 12
Romil Chaudhary and Nirmal Singh: Nirmal is a cop, while Romil is a lawyer. The two are as different as chalk and cheese but get along like a house on fire. They remind us on Manu and Manveer from Bigg Boss 10.
Roshmi Banik and Kriti Verma: One is ex-Roadies contestant and the other is a model. Kriti Verma was a part of many fights in Roadies and here she got paired with Roshmi, who is equally vocal about her feelings.
Deepak Thakur and Urvashi Vani: Urvashi and Deepak are entering the show as a couple. While Deepak is a popular Bhojpuri singer, Urvashi is an aspiring singer from Bihar.
Shivashish Mishra and Sourabh Patel: In the list of commoners is a jodi from Madhya Pradesh who have joined Bigg Boss 12 as a farmer and businessman.
Sabha Khan and Somi Khan: Sabha khan and Somi Khan are sisters from Jaipur.
The new season of 'Bigg Boss' is a little different from its previous seasons. This time the contestants will be entering the house in pairs. Talking about the 'Jodi' concept, Salman Khan said that aim is to bring together couples with unique qualities.
