Comedienne Bharti Singh, who recently got hitched to longtime boyfriend Haarsh Limbachiyaa, is not going on a honeymoon anytime soon. Instead of going on a long romantic vacay with her husband, Bharti Singh is winding up her work commitments. Actually, she has been roped in as a celebrity judge on the finale of famous comedy reality show, The Great Indian Laughter Challenge 5.
For those who don’t know, Bharti Singh started her career as a comedian with this show only, 8 years ago. Thus, when she was given this offer, she agreed immediately.
She told BollywoodShaadis, “You won’t believe it, but I have postponed my honeymoon to Europe for this show. I was supposed to leave on 17th, but because the shoot is on 19th, I cancelled my tickets and booked for 23rd. All the hotel and flight bookings had to be redone, but I have no complaints. I started as a contestant on the show and I am excited to go as a judge.”
The newly-wed Bharti Singh told if her husband Haarsh had any objections on postponing their honeymoon for the show or not. She said, “He asked me if I was sure about it, I am here because of this show, so there was no way I was going to miss it. And he said okay.”
This would be her first appearance on television post marriage. Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa got hitched in a big fat Indian wedding in Goa. The wedding functions were attended by who’s who of television fraternity. The celebrities who were invited include Sanaya Irani, Mohit Sehgal, Asha Negi, Rithvik Dhanjani and Anita Hassanandani among others.
