Actress Vibha Anand, who essayed the role of Sugna Shyam Singh in "Balika Vadhu", will be seen in the short film "Yours truly Roohani", directed by Sammir I Patel. "Yours truly Roohani" is a romantic-comedy which will release next month in the first week, read a statement.
"I'm a believer of soul connection, and when I first heard the story I could connect to it. And that's also the reason why I didn't think twice and immediately said yes for the role," said Vibha.
"Yours truly Roohani" also features Rishi Saxena of the TV show "Kahe Diya Pardes" fame.
"This is a romantic comedy film, a genre I am doing for the first time, which will hopefully touch hearts across all age groups of people," said Patel, who has also writen and produced the project.
When Veebha Anand played the reserved Sugna in Balika Vadhu, we were impressed with her Indian beauty. Then she went on to do similar demure roles in shows such as Sanskaar Laxmi, Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan, Yeh Hai Aashiqui and Subhadra or Goddess Yogmaya in Mahabharat.
