After 'Babe Bhangra Paunde Ne', Diljit Dosanjh is all set to entertain the movie buffs with his upcoming movie Ranna Ch Dhanna. Also starring Sonam Bajwa and Shehnaaz Gill in the lead role, the Punjabi film is set to hit big screens next year. Helmed by Amarjit Singh Saron, the film will release on October 2, 2024. Taking to her social media handles, Shehnaaz shared the poster of the film and wrote, "Ishq ne ghalib nikamma kar diya varna cheez toh hum thay kaam ki, #RannaChDhanna movie releasing in cinemas worldwide 2nd Oct, 2024!!!"
The film’s poster shows Diljit, Sonam and Shehnaaz and other women, in animated style. Before Ranna Ch Dhanna, the trio were seen together in another Punjabi romantic-comedy 'Honsla Rakh'.
Apart from this, Punjabi singer and actor Diljit is likely to collaborate with Australian singer Sia, who is known for hits like Cheap Thrills, Move Your Body, etc. In a series of pictures, dropped by Diljit, he can be seen greeting the Cheap Thrills singer, both hugging each other with beaming smiles. Apart from Sia, American record producer Greg Kurstin, who has worked with singers such as Harry Styles and Paul McCartney, was also seen posing with the Punjabi singer in one of the pictures.
Along with sharing the post, he wrote in the caption, “Unstoppable vibe Sia”. The purpose of the meeting hasn’t been disclosed yet, but there are speculations that there might be a musical collaboration between the trio for a new song. Talking about the film, Diljit Dosanjh will be seen in 'Chamkila' alongside Parineeti Chopra. Directed by Imtiaz Ali, it will release on Netflix in 2024. Also, he has 'The Crew' alongside Kareena Kapoor, Tabu and Kriti Sanon.
Sonam Bajwa, on the other hand, was last seen in 'Carry On Jatta 3' alongside Gippy Grewal in the lead role. And Shehnaaz will star in Thank You For Coming. Co-starring Bhumi Pednekar and internet sensations Kusha Kapila, Dolly Singh, and Shibani Bedi, the film has been directed by Karan Boolani and backed by Rhea Kapoor and Anil Kapoor, along with Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor. The film is all set to hit the silver screen on October 6 this year.
