Mersal, which is released in just one language continues to shine at box office with its superb business worldwide. Vijay’s film has made a worldwide gross income of Rs 225 crore. The film is also emerging as Tamil’s highest grosser.
Interestingly, Mersal’s Telugu version titled Adirindhi will be releasing this Friday. Mersal was helmed by Atlee and featured Vijay in a triple role. Vijay’s film Mersal was produced with a budget of Rs 130 crore.
Reportedly, Mersal has also emerged as biggest grosser in Malaysia after Dilwale and Kabali as it earned Rs 19 crore in the country.
Meanwhile, superstar Rajinikanth’s Enthiran, which was released in three languages earned Rs 250 crore.
On the other hand, Mersal is getting a good response of the audience in overseas market as well. The film is doing good in Malaysia, Australia, North America, France and UK.
