The actress turned a year older on 4th May and her fans took to social media to shower love on her. Even celebrities and her co-stars wished Trisha on her special day. However, it was Charmme Kaur's wish that grabbed eyeballs. The Pournami actress proposed Trisha for marriage on her birthday.

Trisha took no time and replied, ''thank you and i said YES already”. The two actresses' fun banter is proof that they are best friends. However, their Twitter banter left their fans bewildered. "I'm really not after women-centric scripts. If I find an interesting project, I'll go ahead and do it. I'm glad the shelf-life of actresses is changing. Actresses like Nayanthara and Anushka have been around for a long time and they're doing very well for themselves."
