Tamil Superstar Ajith's Birthday: From Dhanush to Kajal Aggarwal, celebs wish Thala 'health and happiness'

Tamil Superstar Ajith aka Ajith Kumar turned 47 this 1st May and wishes poured from all the corners. The actor, who made his debut with Telugu film Prema Pusthakamin in 1993 is known for movies such as Aasai, Kadhal Kottai, Vaali and Citizen among others. After ruling million of hearts as a romantic hero, Thala went on to embrace action genre.

The superstar who was last seen in 2017 movie Vivegam is known for his humility. Thala is an epitome of hard work and determination. He reportedly signed Vivegam, which had high octane action sequences while on being crutches. Ajith who was recovering from surgery back then, built a new physique for his role.

Ajith will next be seen in Siva's Viswasam, which is expected to go on floors from the first week of May. This rural drama will mark the fourth collaboration of Ajith with director Shiva. The actor-director duo has earlier given movies such as Veeram, Vedhalam and Vivegam.

What makes Ajith immensely popular is that he never promotes his films. He doesn't even conduct press conferences but still, his movies set cash registers ringing. On his 47th birthday, celebrities took to Twitter to wish their favourite superstar. From Kajal Aggarwal and Dhanush to Sivakarthikeyan, stars didn't miss out an opportunity to show their love for Thala. Wish you health, happiness and well-being! #HBDThalaAJITH''. Dhanush wished Thala a rocking year.
