Sri Reddy Leaks: After Abhiram Daggubati, Telegu actress accuses director Kona Venkat of sexual exploitation
After naming and shaming Abhiram Daggubati, Rana Daggubati’s brother for sexually using her, Telegu actress Sri Reddy has now accused Kona Venkat of sexual exploitation. The actress named many big celebrities of Tollywood including singer Sreeram and Rana Daggubati’s brother. In a debate on Telegu TV channel, Mahaa News, Sri Reddy revealed Kona Venkat’s name. The claimed that the director asked her to meet at a guest house and promised to introduce her to VV Vinayak. She accused him of sexually exploiting her.
Sri Reddy shared some screenshots of her WhatsApp conversations with the Tollywood biggies. She claimed that she has two more big names which she will reveal in the coming few days.
Responding to her allegations, Kona Venkat tweeted, “I'm shocked with some allegations made by one actress against some film personalities including me.. I demand the government to conduct through police investigation in these allegations and punish whoever are guilty.. Truth must prevail legal action follows!”
He also argued that film industry has become a soft target for people who want to gain publicity. He added, “It's really pity that film industry and film personalities have become soft target to many people who are trying to gain cheap publicity... I definitely support taking Telugu artists in our films.. In Geethanjali u find only Telugu artists. But this is unacceptable. I condemn it.”
Sri Reddy earlier named Sekhal Kamula and claimed that he was also involved in casting couch. The director responded to her allegations on Twitter and also threatened her of legal actions.
Sriram Chandra’s name was also dragged in the controversy, with Telegu actress revealing her WhatsApp chat with him showing lewd messages from his end. In the chat, the singer was making inappropriate comments on her ‘butt’ comparing her to Nicki Minaj.
However, the biggest allegation that came from Sri Reddy’s side was towards Rana Daggubati’s brother Abhiram Daggubati. He is the son of leading producer Suresh Babu. Here’s what she said in an interview to News18, “Suresh Babu's son cheated me so badly. The studio belongs to the government and it is meant to help and support talented people. They have to use it in a proper way. This Suresh Babu's son took me to the studio and f****d me so badly in the studio only.”
