Popular South Indian actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu is gearing up for the release of her forthcoming film U Turn. And the actress is currently busy in the promotions of U Turn which is slated to release on Thursday. Samantha will be seen in solo performance in the film and she is excited for it. The film is helmed by Pawan Kumar.
Samantha talking about U Turn which is a remake of the Kannada hit film with the same name said, “I have known Pawan Kumar from Lucia. I loved that film. It was always in the pipeline to work with him. I didn’t know it would be so quick. I watched the trailer of Kannada U Turn. I immediately called (him) and said, ‘How did you not want to do this film with me. How dare you?’’’
Further talking about Pawan Kumar’s directorial debut in Tamil and Telugu, U Turn, Samantha said, “It is not one particular genre. It goes from thriller to mystery…to an emotional film. So, it’s kind of an experience. After you walk out of the film, it will still linger on for a few hours. It makes you think. It is the kind of film I’d want to watch in cinema halls.”
U Turn also features Aadhi Pinisetty, Bhumika Chawla, Rahul Ravindran and Narain. Samantha’s film is slated to release on September 13.
