Rajinikanth's director daughter Soundarya confirms her wedding
After much speculation, the director daughter of superstar Rajinikanth, Soundarya Rajinikanth has finally confirmed her wedding. Soundarya, who has helmed films such as Kochadaiiyaan and VIP 2 will tie the knot with actor-businessman Vishagan Vanangamudi.
The wedding is slated to take place on February 11. Soundarya took to Twitter to share her gorgeous picture. Along with it, she wrote, "#OneWeekToGo #BrideMode #Blessed #VedVishaganSoundarya #Family''.
This will be Soundarya and Vishagan's second marriage. Soundarya was earlier married to industrialist Ashwin Ramkumar in 2010, however, they parted their ways by filing for divorce in 2016. They have a son, Ved. Similarly, Vishagan also got separated from his wife a couple of years ago.
Soundarya started her career as a graphic designer with films such as Baba, Majaa, Sandakozhi and Sivaji. She made her directorial debut with her father starrer Kochadaiiyaan. Vishagan, on the other hand, made his acting debut with 2018 Tamil thriller Vanjagar Ulagam.
On a related note, buzz is that wife of Rajinikanth, Latha Rajinikanth has requested Tamil Nadu police to provide protection for the wedding ceremony and reception. Reportedly, in a letter to the department, she has mentioned that the ceremony can disrupt traffic causing inconvenience to the public.
