A year later, Priya Prakash Varrier has again some headlines. The winking sensation who shot to fame overnight for her Oru Adaar Love song Manikya Malarya Poovi, has featured in a teaser dropped by the makers. In the short video, Priya Prakash is seen locking lips with her co-star Roshan Abdul Rauf. Last year, the Malayalam actress broke the internet with her cute wink and expressions. Soon after the song, Priya Prakash Varrier’s Instagram handle was full of millions of followers and her name on the account was adorned with a blue ‘verified’ tick.

After the song release, Priya Prakash Varrier appeared in many media interviews. Talking about her overnight fame, she said, “I am very happy. Don’t know how to handle so much love. It’s completely surreal.”

Previously, Priya Prakash Varrier was in headlines for the trailer of her upcoming film Sridevi Bungalow. In the film, she is playing the role of a depressed superstar who ends up dead in a bathtub. The film landed some into trouble for its uncanny resemblance to late actress Sridevi. People on Twitter slammed the young actress and the makers for commercialising the veteran actress’ sudden death.

Priya Prakash will be debuting in Malayalam film industry with Oru Adaar Love directed by Omar Lulu. The film will hit the theatres on February 14.
