Malayalam film Oru Adaar Love hit the cinemas this Valentine’s Day on February 14 amid much expectation. Written and directed by Omar Lulu, the film stars a bunch of newcomers including wink girl Priya Prakash Varrier and Roshan Abdul Rahoof. Priya Prakash Varrier’s viral wink helped the film to garner much buzz everywhere. However, such viral buzz came across as a setback for lead actress Noorin Shereef.
After Oru Adaar Love release, Noorin Shereef has now come to the forefront to talk about how her role was sidelined by Priya Prakash Varrier’s viral wink that took over the nation by storm.
"I was actually very happy when Omar Lulu selected me as the heroine in the movie. But as Priya Prakash Varrier's wink went viral, makers changed the entire storyline of the movie, and my character was a bit sidelined. I actually felt very disappointed when my character lost its importance as this was my first offer to act in the lead role”, Noorin Shereef was quoted as saying to a Malayalam entertainment portal.
In another interview, Noorin shared that she'd been glad to work with Roshan Abdul in future, but may think twice about teaming up with Priya Prakash Varrier. When the interviewer quizzed her about joining hands with the 'Wink Girl', she said, "No comments."
Oru Adaar Love is written and directed by Omar Lulu, whose films like Chunkzz and Happy Wedding are pretty famous. The film is a love story which is set in a high school where young couple steal a glance at their love interest during lectures.
