The vehicle hit the divider and collided with another vehicle coming from the opposite direction.
Two others accompanying him were injured. Police believe that Harikrishna was driving the car when the mishap occurred. The actor-politician was on his way to Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh to attend a marriage.

His movies like Sitayya in which he played full length role were received well by the audience.
