Kannada stars Chiranjeevi Sarja and Meghana Raj tie the knot in Bengaluru
Kannada star couple Chiranjeevi Sarja and Meghana Raj, who got married in a church on Sunday, solemnised their union as per Hindu rituals on Wednesday. According to a report in IB Times, the wedding took place at Palace Grounds in Bengaluru. The two have known each other for more than 10 years. They had started dating each other five years back though.
They will host a reception for friends and family soon. Meghana’s wedding attire was a shimmery white saree with a blue border, and she looked resplendent as a bride, we have to admit. Chiranjeivi, on the other hand, too, wore white.
The newlyweds looked absolutely beautiful. The couple is seen to be basking in each other’s reflected light with a small smile playing on their lips.
Meghana, who was introduced to Mollywood through Vinayan’s movie ‘Yakshiyum Njanum’, looks stunning. Meghana is seen wearing a traditional Kanjeevaram sari while Chiranjeevi makes a royal appearance in traditional wedding outfit.
The actor looked handsome as a groom in his traditional attire. The wedding was attended by family and close friends from the industry. Malayalam actor, Nazriya Nazim, also came to wish the couple.
Speaking about their relationship, Indian Express had quoted Meghana as saying, “We have been friends for so long. And we have just got married. The feeling is very surreal.” “We will be an exemplary married couple. And we want all your blessings for that,” added Chiranjeevi.
Chiranjeevi is the brother of actor Dhruv Sarja and nephew of Arjun Sarja. His grandfather is the veteran Kannada actor Shakti Prasad. On the other hand, Meghana is the daughter of the celebrity couple Sundar Raj and Pramila. The actress made her acting debut with the Telugu movie Bendu Apparao R.M.P in 2009 and has acted in a number of Malayalam, Kannada and Tamil films as well.
