Imaikkaa Nodigal: Nayanthara was picked over Mammootty, reveals director R Ajay Gnanamuthu

Nayanthara, who was last seen in block buster hit Kolamavu Kokila, is gearing up for the release of Imaikkaa Nodigal. The film is helmed by R Ajay Gnanamuthu and will hit screens this Friday.

Filmmaker of Tamil psychological thriller titled Imaikkaa Nodigal, just a day before the film release, announced that Nayanthara was selected over Mammootty for the film.

The trailer of the film got released recently and created a lot of buzz due to its cycle stunt scene. Talking about it the producer of the film Jayakumar earlier said, “When the director shared the idea of this cycle fight, we decided to make it as stunning as possible. With Atharva in the pedal, we knew for sure that this action sequence would be talked about. We decided to rope in the best of technicians to give the fight an international feel and quality, so we brought Hollywood cycle stunt specialist Leehonyiu from Hongkong. He has done a mind-blowing job along with ‘Stunt’ Siva master. The combination of Atharva-Leehonyiu-‘Stunt’ Siva-R D Rajasekar and director Ajay Gnanamuthu will give the audience the feel of a Hollywood action film.”

The film Imaikkaa Nodigal also features Anurag Kashyap, Raashi Khanna and Atharvaa.
