The Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar-starrer 2.0 witnessed substantial growth on its first weekend at box-office. Furthermore, Ramesh Bala said that the film is performing better than Hollywood move Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. It is said that from November 29 to December 2, 2.0 has collected about Rs 400 crore across the world.
In Chennai city, the film has become unstoppable. It has earned more than Rs 2 crore for the fourth consecutive time. It has crossed Rs 10 crore mark in the city in the past 4 days.
2.0 Hindi version Box Office Collection
While in its Hindi version, 2.0 isn't posting as big a number as it was expected before the release, elsewhere in other versions, the Rajinikanth starrer is wreaking havoc. The movie is number one in Australia. In Pakistan, the screen count has been increased from 20 to 75 due to high demand. At the USA box office, 2.0 has already surpassed the lifetime business of Rajinikanth's Lingaa in just two days of its release.

2.0 is director Shankar’s long-awaited sequel of 2010’s box office hit, Enthiran Yet again the legendary ‘Rajnikanth ‘stars as the scientist ‘Vaseeharan’ and his superhero robot ‘Chitti 2.0’ who battles it out with antagonist Richard who is also a scientist portrayed by the Bollywood megastar Akshay Kumar.
