Ved Box Office Collection Day 13: Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza's film had an amazing second weekend despite the drop. The film earned more than its opening weekend but post that the film is seeing a downward trend. Positive word of mouth has been working in the film's favour and clearly, fans want to see the endearing chemistry of the real-life celebrity couple on the screen.

The film is special for Riteish and Genelia for more than one reason. It marks the directorial debut of Riteish and the Marathi debut of Genelia. Talking of its collection on the 13th day of its release, Ved saw a drop at the ticket window. As per early trade reports, on the 13th day of its release, Ved earned 1.10 Crore. With this, the total collection of the film stands over Rs 37.77 Crore.
Karan Johar lauds Riteish-Genelia on Ved success
Karan Johar is all praises for Ved. Taking to Instagram, the filmmaker dropped the poster of the Marathi film and penned down a long note, which read, "We've been friends for 20 years... a friendship that had nothing to do with the profession we are both in ( which is rare)... a connection I made with him when we met for the first time... his unabashed goodness, his massive heart and enviable affability....
