Richa Chadha shared a video on her Instagram
The film Fukrey has been a hit among audience and not long ago the makers also announced the third installment of the sleeper success comedy.
Now recently, the cast was seen together for a reading session of Fukrey 3. Yes, actor Richa Chadha who played Bholi Punjaban in Fukrey and its follow-up, Fukrey Returns, took to her Instagram to share a clip from the film’s table reading session. The other cast of the film Pulkit Samrat, Manjot Singh, Ali Fazal and Pankaj Tripathi were also present in the video.
Sharing the post, Richa wrote, “Our own table read ... with @pankajtripathi @vipulhappy @pulkitsamrat @fukravarun @oyemanjot @alifazal9 @mriglamba @excelmovies!”
A lot of fans and even celebrities reacted to Richa’s post. Actress Kriti Kharbanda said “kamaal” while Swara Bhasker wrote “Woooohooooo”. Meanwhile, a fan commented, “I love the Bholi Panjaban character.” Another one said, “Chucha bhai kaha h? Without Chucha bhai kaise!”
For the unversed, Varun Sharma’s character in the film is called Dilip Singh/Choocha who became popularly because of his funny dreams.
Talking about Fukrey 3, director Mrighdeep Singh Lamba in an interview with PTI told that he was thinking of adding COVID-19 pandemic in the film’s plot. He said, “This part too will have a strong message that people will take away and it will be delivered in a humorous way. The original story doesn’t mention it (about Covid-19). But we have been contemplating. We have discussed it. We need to be careful how we show it (Covid-19 situation) it shouldn’t seem forceful.
Fukrey which was released in 2013 and mostly received positive reviews. The film was produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani. The sequel, Fukrey Returns, released in 2017.
