Filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj and the whole team are basking in the success of their latest film Leo. Lokesh sustained an injury during a promotional event for his film in Palakkad Kavita Theatre in Kerala. The director had organised the success meeting to celebrate the film's achievements in the state. He was in the state for the promotion of the film at Palakkad, Thrissur, and Kochi and had planned to return later in the day. But his plans went awry after the place became overcrowded. The fans made a mad rush to come close to the director to take selfies which created a stampede.
Lokesh Kanagaraj took to social media to express gratitude after visiting Kerala. He shared a selfie and wrote in the caption, "Thank you Kerala for your love...Overwhelmed, happy, and grateful to see you all in Palakkad. Due to a small injury in the crowd, I couldn't make it to the other two venues and the press meeting. I will certainly come back to meet you all in Kerala again soon. Till then continue enjoying #Leo with the same love".
Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film hit the silver screens on October 19 featuring a star-studded cast including Sanjay Dutt, Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Sarja, Mysskin, Sandy, and Gautham Menon, among others.
