IIFA Awards 2022 Nominations List: Shershaah leads with 12 titles; 83 and Ludo follow

While Siddharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani starrer Shershaah led the IIFA Awards 2022 nominations with a place in all 12 categories, Ranveer Singh's 83 and Abhishek Bachchan's multi-starrer Ludo followed with 9 and 6 nominations respectively.

IIFA Awards 2022 Nominations List

International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards announced its 12 Popular Category nominations on Friday (April 1). After a wait of two years, the 22nd edition will take place in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi on May 20th and 21st, 2022. While Siddharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani starrer Shershaah led the nominations with a place in all 12 categories, Ranveer Singh's 83 and Abhishek Bachchan's multi-starrer Ludo followed with 9 and 6 nominations respectively. Taapsee Pannu's Thappad and Sara Ali Khan's Atrangi Re closed with 5 and Kriti Sanon's Mimi with 4 nominations.

Rounding out the 12 Popular Categories are Best Picture, Best Direction, Best Performance in A Leading Role (Female & Male), Best Performance in a Supporting Role (Female & Male), Best Music Direction, Best Playback Singer (Female & Male), Best story (Original & Adapted) and Best Lyrics.
