Elvish Yadav sent to 14 days of judicial custody after being arrested in snake venom case

Bigg Boss OTT winner and YouTuber Elvish Yadav is once again in the headline and for all the wrong reasons. The Noida Police has now arrested YouTuber Elvish Yadav in snake poisoning case. Last year, Noida Police had registered an FIR in Sector 39 and was called for questioning after which he was arrested. Elvish Yadav will be presented in the court in some time. He was produced in Surajpur court today. Since it is Sunday, MM will be the duty judge. Elvish Yadav has been to sent to 14-day police custody.

DCP Noida Vidya Sagar Mishra's TikTok live has been uploaded. Investigation was going on, evidence was found that Elvish Yadav had a role, after which he was called for questioning and arrested today. The snake venom which was sent to the Jaipur lab was also confirmed to be the venom of banned snakes. 

Last year,  based on a complaint filed by the People For Animals (PFA) organisation, the Noida Police had raided a banquet hall located in Sector 51 and arrested five people. The PFA in its FIR named Elvish and accused him of organising rave parties in which they invite foreigners and arrange poisonous snakes.

The Noida Police questioned him for more than two hours in connection with the case. The investigation by the veterinary department suggested that of the total nine snakes, the venom glands of five cobras were removed, and the other four were found not to be poisonous. For the unversed, nine venomous snakes were recovered during the raid. Under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, removing the venom glands of a snake is a punishable offence and the guilty can be jailed for seven years.

The snake charmers who have been caught are all residents of Molarband village in Delhi. They say that earlier these people were snake charmers but now they used to play drums at weddings. They do not know how the snakes came to them and they also do not know Elvish Yadav. He even appeared before Noida police after he was asked to appear for questioning where Elvish reportedly revealed that singer Fazilpuria arranged the snakes at the Noida party. However, the singer claimed that the viral video on social media is from one of his album shoots. 

This is not the first time he has landed in trouble. Recently, an FIR was lodged against the Bigg Boss OTT fame for beating up and assaulting a fellow YouTuber in Haryana's Gurugram. The whole incident was recorded and shared on social media. For the unversed, Elvish Yadav, also known as Siddhartha Yadav is a popular YouTuber from Gurugram. He gained recognition after winning the second season of Bigg Boss OTT. He has also appeared in music videos including Bad Guy, Systumm, Punja Daab, Rao Sahab, Hum Toh Deewane, Meter Khench Ke and Bolero.
