Today’s International Mother’s Day, and we were wondering how our lovely ‘Momma’s Boy’ Rosesh Sarabhai hasn’t come up with anything innovative. It’s impossible for Rosesh to stay without a poetry on his mother on Mother’s Day.
Just as we expected, Rosesh did make a rap for his beloved mother Maya Sarabhai. Here it is:
O Momma, O Momma! Tumne mujhko janam diya, sabse accha karam kiya.

Momma mujhe bahut acchi lagti hai
Momma pari hai, pari!
Meri Momma Maya Sarabhai, yani ishwar ki di hui badhai, ishwar ki samjhai hui sacchai
Duniya Maya se hai bani banai
âSab kuch hai Maya, Ye Sofa ye Kaya, rishta bhi Maya, raasta bhi Maya, lunch dinner aur breakfast bhi Maya
Maya to sophistication ka prateek hai, thodi contemporary thodi antique hai
Ye to mamta ki hai chaya, sara pyaar aata always Maya Maya
