After Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, it was Ranveer Singh who turned teacher for a Mumbai commuter on Tuesday. A video, which shows the Simmba actor rebuking the man, was shared on Twitter by the man in question. Sharing the video, he accused Ranveer of misbehaving with common people taking advantage of his celebrity status. He wrote, “Badtameez insaaan Baat karne ki tameez nahi tum jaise insaan ko ye bhi nahi pata ki kisi ki maa bahan ke saamne itni gaali kon deta hai pagal insaan agar yahi attitude raha to jaldi hi sadak par aa jayega pahle loge se baat karne ki tameez seekh phir hero bannaa flop actor.”
In no time, the video went viral on the internet. Many Twitter users asked the man to upload the complete video so that the complete situation can be made out more clearly. Some even raised objections at the man for recording the incident instead of apologising for his mistake.
In the video, Ranveer Singh is apparently shouting at the man from his car. He appeared very angry in the video, in contrast to his cool demeanour.
However, Ranveer Singh is not clearly seen in the video so the authenticity of the video remains questionable. Coming to the accusations of the man that the actor abused him, the cuss words aren’t audible in the video as well. The man, who was recording the video secretly, was heard apologising for driving recklessly.
According to a leading entertainment daily, Ranveer Singh was angry at the man for passing by his car swiftly, almost causing the collision. When the actor reached out to talk to him, the man was busy on his mobile phone.
Twitter was quick to pass judgements and majority of the users blamed the man for driving carelessly on the road. One user wrote, “Take action this serial criminal who hit the car while using mobile phone and actor survived accident who could die and while he is apolgising still filming for his fun.”
“First of all..on your allegation that he abused you n all..One can clearly hear..that he did not abuse AT ALL..!” wrote another user.
“Secondly..how you have the audacity to record a half incident..just a clip of whatever suits your narration and agenda..and post it to accuse someone..!,” he added.
“@MumbaiPolice sir take action against this men who was using mobile phone while driving and hit ranveer singh car ranveer survived accident he was still filming for getting attention despite being guilty,” a Twitter user tagged Mumbai Police to bring them to notice.
On the work front, Ranveer Singh will be next seen in Gully Boy and Simmba opposite Alia Bhatt and Sara Ali Khan respectively.
