Time doesn’t seem to be favorable for the makers of ‘Sasural Simar Ka’. It hasn’t been long since Dipika Kakar, and now another actor is all set to say goodbye to the show.
Soon after the lead actress Simar (Dipika Kakar) bid farewell to the show, another lead actor, Dheeraj Dhoopar has called his quits. We are guessing that the same monotonous script of the serial has exhausted Dheeraj just like Dipika. The actor is said to shoot his last episode on March 8, which is not very far from now.
‘Sasural Simar Ka’ has been a milestone for Dheeraj’s career and made him a prominent face in every Indian household. He entered the show as a replacement for Shoaib Ibrahim who left the show in 2013. The actor has been in the show through the supernatural drama and he was playing the role of two married daughters. Although, he is just 32 in real life!
In a statement the actor said, “I am parting on a good note. I have quit the show for better opportunities and want to take up a romantic show next. If a project materialises, I could be back on screen within no time. Otherwise, I would like to work on my body and return in a new avatar.” Last year, the actor tied knot with his long-time girlfriend, Vinny Arora in Novemeber.
Presently, Keerti Kelkar is playing the role of new Simar on Sasural Simar Ka. She will begin the shooting in a few days. She came back to the TV after 6-year break.
