Watch: Amitabh Bachchan teases Anushka Sharma about Virat Kohli, actress can’t stop blushing
Anushka Sharma and Varun Dhawan on a promotion spree for their upcoming film Sui Dhaaga. As a part of promotions, the actors will be gracing the hot seat on Amitabh Bachchan-hosted quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati. They will be joined by philanthropist Padma Shri Sudha Varghese on the show. The shooting has already taken place and the episode will go on air on Friday at 9 pm. However, the teaser of the episode is already doing rounds on the social media. In one of the teasers shared by Sony’s official Twitter handle, megastar Amitabh Bachchan can be seen pulling Anushka Sharma’s legs while talking about cricket and Virat Kohli.
Anushka Sharma playfully tells Sudha Varghese, “Mere jo pati hai who cricket khelte hain, toh unhe dekhne ke liye mujhe dekhna padta hai.”
To this Amitabh Bachchan quips, “Keval unko dekhne ke liye?”
While talking about Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma can be seen blushing evidently.
The host, who is known for his witty comebacks, says, “Hume sab pata hai jo bhi TV pe hota hai.” He then enacts the iconic flying kiss by Virat Kohli that made headlines back in 2014.
Varun Dhawan, who was sitting among the audience can also be seen laughing hysterically.
Talking about Sudha Varghese, the Padma Shri awardee has worked day in and day out for the welfare of scheduled caste in Bihar. She fought against untouchability, poverty and atrocities faced by the Musahar community of Bihar. Varghese runs an NGO Nari Gunjan that operates schools for girls and also offers livelihood programmes for women. The money she has won at Kaun Banega Crorepati 10 will go to her philanthropic organisation. It will be used to uplift women who don’t have any property.
