Deepika Padukone took to her Instagram to share a couple of pictures with her mother Ujjala Padukone in which the two are seen sharing an adorable moment. The actress captions the image as, “trying to get her to smile...but she’s such a natural..#motheranddaughter” The post was flooded with compliments and praises in no time and one of them was Bollywood diva Katrina Kaif’s comment that read, ‘So pretty she is.’ Katrina compliments Deepika’s mother and said that she is very pretty. The picture posted by Deepika is from the Sportstar Aces Awards where Deepika Padukone’s father and the renowned badminton player Prakash Padukone was felicitated with Lifetime Achievement Award. Undeniably, both the actress and her mother look like perfection in the pictures. On the other hand, Katrina and Deepika’s cat fight became the story of the past when the two actresses exchanged warm hugs and kisses during the Star Screen Awards 2018. The video of which went viral on the internet like wildfire.
Recently, when Katrina Kaif appeared on Famously Filmfare, she talked about how things have changed now between them and that she was happy to be a part of Deepika and Ranveer’s wedding celebrations. She said, "A lot of water has flown under the bridge. For me, just the fact that she came and was very present was gracious (of her). I've always been fond of her. You know, just the way that she's been over the years, and with her work and I have a lot of respect for that. I made my peace with her."
