TV serial Diya Aur Baati Hum’s Sooraj aka Anas Rashid gets hitched to fiancée Heena Iqbal on Sunday. It was an arranged match between Anas and Heena. The bride belonged to his hometown Malerkotla, Punjab and is 14 years younger than Anas, who is 38-year-old. Earlier, in April, the couple got engaged in their hometown in a low key ceremony.
"Everyone is really excited at home and we are all geared up with the preparation. Since the entire family is here, we planned to tie the knot in Malerkotla, and when we move to Mumbai, will organise a party there," Anas tells about his wedding plans to Indian Express.

Heena, who was earlier working in immigration has quit her job to get married to Anas. The couple is now officially wedded and Anas shared the pictures of the ceremony on his Instagram account.
When the news of Anas marrying a girl, who’s younger to him by 14 years broke out in media, he said, “We are 14 years apart (Anas is 38 years old) and, at the moment, are getting to know each other."
Anas was also said to have dated Rati Pandey in the past.
