Dia Mirza, who shot to fame with R Madhavan starrer 2001 romantic film Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein recently announced separation with her husband Sahil Sangha. The duo got married in 2014 and was dating each other since 2008. ''After 11 years of sharing our lives and being together, we have mutually decided to separate. We remain friends and will continue to be there for each other with love and respect. While our journeys may lead us down different paths, we are forever grateful for the bond that we share with each other,'' her note on Instagram read.
Earlier rumour mongers said that Manmarziyaan writer Kanika Dhillon is the reason behind Dia and Sahil's separation, which the actress denied. Now, grapevine is abuzz with rumours about Dia dating his Kaafir co-star Mohit Raina. Yes, some believe that Mohit and Dia have found love in each other. They came close during the shooting of Zee5 series Kaafir, directed by Sonam Nair.
Earlier, Mohit was reportedly dating Mouni Roy, however, none of them opened up about the same. Mohit made his Bollywood debut with Vicky Kaushal starrer Uri: The Surgical Strike.
For unversed, Mohit Raina had a crush on Dia during his college days. ''I was just finishing my college, or perhaps I had moved out I am not sure when Rehnaa Hai Tere Dil Mein had released. All of us had this huge crush on Reena Malhotra. We had beautiful Dia Mirza play Reena Malhotra in RHTDM. So when I was going to work with Dia, I was like, “I am gonna work with Dia Mirza!” I was in awe of her, which I still haven’t told her ever,'' the actor revealed.
In an interview, when Dia was asked about his experience of working with Mohit for the first time, the actress had said, "Mohit is the shiest co-actor I've ever worked with. He took about 15 days to open up... even more than the little girl who plays my daughter in the show. It's said quiet children are the naughtiest and he is just like that! He is a complete joy to work with.
"He takes a little time to reveal himself because he is shy but full of energy. He is naughty, in a nice way and I think he has the kindest eyes,'' she added.
