Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora to tie knot in April?
While Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor are maintaining a low profile on their relationship for some time, reports are doing rounds that the lovebirds are soon to tie the knot in April. In a newspaper report, Arjun and Malaika are planning to exchange wedding vows next month itself. However, its not going to be a lavish wedding. It will be a traditional Christian wedding.
"Malaika and Arjun have decided to get married in April, in a church wedding,” the report reads.
Interestingly, Malaika Arora’s sister Amrita Arora also married Shakeel Ladak in a white wedding. While talking to KJo in Koffee With Karan, Kareena Kapoor Khan chose not to respond to questions regarding Malaika Arora’s wedding. However, Karan asking Bebo if she’s going to be her bridesmaids has sparked speculations that a white wedding is on cards for the couple.
Arjun Kapoor also revealed that he is open to marriage on Koffee With Karan, where he went with his sister Janhvi Kapoor.
Malaika Arora was previously married to Arbaaz Khan. They parted ways in 2017 after irreconcilable differences. They are co-parenting their 16-year-old son Arhaan together.
While talking to Kareena Kapoor Khan on Ishq FM, Malaika Arora spilled beans on how her family reacted when she told them about their divorce. She said, “I think sab ki pehli yehi raai hai ki mat karna. Koi aapko nahi kahega ki, 'Haan, haan, please jayiye, kariye.' That's the first thing, ki aap soch samajh ke yeh decision lena. I went through the same thing.”
If these wedding reports are anything to go by, Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor would be the first Bollywood couple to tie the knot in 2019.
