After Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma's secret Tuscany wedding, rumour mills have been abuzz about another big wedding. If celebrity watchers are to believed, Sonam Kapoor is all set to tie the knot with her long-term beau Anand Ahuja, in April this year. Reports say that it would be an intimate affair in Jodhpur with 300 guests. While Bollywood lovers were still trying to find out the ratio of truth in the reports, Sonam's PadMan co-star Akshay Kumar did something which added fuel to the fire.
Akshay publicly questioned Sonam regarding her marriage plans. When the fashionista tried to dodge the question, Akshay prodded again. Without beating around the bush, Akshay went on asking if she is planning to tie the knot this year. Actually, the two stars were present at an event to talk about inventions and innovators. When the organisers introduced a cooking machine, Sonam immediately said that would like to purchase it for her mother Sunita Kapoor as her father Anil Kapoor never allowed her mum to cook. Hearing this, Akshay quipped that he would gift her one if she reveals her marriage plans.
''If you are getting married this year, I will gift you a cooking machine. So, you can cook, or maybe your husband can cook for you,'' he said.
Sonam and Anand had previously attended the party hosted by Akshay Kumar for international star Will Smith. The lovebirds have been dating for quite a some time now and their bond is getting stronger day by day. Though they remain mum on their relationship but they keep posting pictures on social media which speak volumes about their love.
Recently, Sonam and Anand rang in New Year together in Paris and their lovey-dovey pictures went viral all over the internet. Besides going for vacations, the duo also accompany each other to family get-togethers.
