Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai
Khakee and Action Replayy couple Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are all set to team up again and that too for a huge project. The duo who last appeared together in 2010 film Action Replayy will reportedly reunite for S. Shankar's 2.0.
Shankar's 2.0 is being made with a whopping budget of Rs 450 crore and is touted as the costliest Indian film ever made. Akshay is playing the role of antagonist in the movie and his looks have already raised excitement among fans. This is the first time Akshay will be collaborating with Rajinikanth and now if Tamil media reports are to be believed, 2.0 will witness a cameo of Aishwarya as well. The actress will reprise her role of Sana from 2010 Tamil blockbuster Enthiran. Reportedly, Aishwarya also shot for a couple of scenes. However, Shankar stated that 2.0 is not a sequel to Enthiran and is completely different from the first part.
Well, whether these reports are true or not is a matter of time but an official confirmation is expected soon.
On a related note, the SciFi action thriller, which was slated to hit theatres in January this year, will release in April. The movie is being said to be nation's costliest 3D film.
Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar is busy shooting for his movie Kesari and waiting for the release of his flick Gold. On the other hand, Aishwarya Rai is currently shooting for Fanne Khan, co-starring Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao.
