Miami, Oct 31: Mexican singer Vicente Fernandez has helped his driver to launch his career in music.
Dasahev Lopez Saavedra, "El Dasa", was the driver for "Chente" Fernandez and it was the "King of the Rancheras" who offered him his first opportunity to sing before a large crowd.
The performance, according to a communique from the Universal Music record label, took place at a concert that Fernandez gave Nov 17, 2011, in Los Angeles' Gibson Amphitheater.
The 22-year-old El Dasa sang "Amor de los dos" in a duet with Fernandez and later received the recognition from the crowd that the Mexican idol demanded for the young performer.
Now making his way in the music world, El Dasa Tuesday released his debut album "Pa' la raza" - which includes the single "Mentirosa" - under the Universal Music label.
