New York: Actress Uma Thurman will reportedly replace Mary-Louise Parker in the TV mini-series “The Slap”.
According to a report on TV Line, Thurman was signed at the last minute because Parker is recovering from pneumonia, reports variety.com.
Produced by NBC, “The Slap” is an upcoming American adaptation of an Australian family drama series of the same name.
The mini-series will also star Melissa George, Thandie Newton, Peter Sarsgaard and Zachary Quinto.
