Los Angeles: The fourth instalment in the "Toy Story" franchise is getting a sequel and it will narrate a love story between Woody and Bo Peep. The movie's director says he found inspiration for it from his wife.
John Lasseter, chief creative officer of Walt Disney and Pixar Animation Studios, shared the news of the sequel titled “Toy Story 4” at the D23 Expo 2015 at Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim here on Friday.
Lasseter will be directing the film alongside Josh Cooley.
“It will be a new chapter of the film. In the film, Buzz light year and Woody leave in search of Bo Peep. I got inspiration for the film from my wife,” Lasseter said while announcing the news.
The screenwriting team is Will McCormack and Rashida Jones.
