Los Angeles, April 16: Hollywood actress Jane Levy, who is ready to star in the remake of the 1981 classic "The Evil Dead", says it is "the horror film of all horror films".
The actress plays lead role in the film, directed by Fede Alvarez.
Levy said she was left distressed while filming the remake, titled "Evil Dead", because of all of the horrible things that happen to her character.
"I wouldn't call it a good thing, but sometimes I don't really have to act. I'm so tired that I'm crying, I'm so cold I want to go home, really, just like my character. It makes my job easier sometimes, a bit more real," femalefirst.co.uk quoted Levy as saying.
"I could name 10 of the most horrible things that could ever happen to you in your whole life and all of those 10 things happen to this character. It's like the horror film of all horror films," she added.
The actress admitted making the movie was a gruelling process and explained that the physicality involved in her role was particularly tough.
She said: "The hardest part was actually the dramatic stuff, which was emotional. Then physically, I'm having blood dripped all over my head, I'm wearing my underwear in the freezing rain and barfing on people."
