London, Aug 8: The Teen Choice Awards took a moment at the end of the show to pay tribute to the decade-long legacy of the Harry Potter franchise, showing clips and pivotal scenes from the films.Stars Tom Felton and Rupert Grint took the stage after the reel was shown to the audience and thanked the fans for sticking with them for the past couple of years.
"The Harry Potter movies really changed our lives," said Grint, who portrayed Ron Weasley, when he reached the mic.
"It's been nearly 11 years since we were cast," said Felton, who played Draco Malfoy in all the films and won for choice movie villain. "Thank you for sharing the journey with us."
And though the presence of Grint and Felton may have been enough for the Harry Potter fans in attendance, Daniel Radcliffe -- currently on Broadway performing in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying -- made a special appearance via satellite to accept his awards for choice summer movie star.
"Thank you very much. It's always a pleasure to see you too. I'm terrified just sitting here in this room," he said with a chuckle. "Thank you for an incredible 10 years. It has been an absolute dream," before joking with Felton that Gryffindor beat Slytherin in a cricket match that day.
'Thor' star Chris Hemsworth and Colombiana's Zoe Saldana presented the last awards of the night.
