Los Angeles: Singer Taylor Swift says coping with fame can be hard and she is "always" on the verge of tears.
The 24-year-old, who was just 17 when she released her first album, admits sometimes it can be hard to deal with the pressures of finding success so young.
"I'm always, like, one half step away from crying, at any point,” contactmusic.com quoted Swift as saying.
The “Shake It Off” hitmaker finds the best way to deal with her success is to spend time with her friends and she looks up to Lena Dunham, who she has quickly become "best friends" with after initially thinking the actress was mocking her.
"I Googled her and I saw her quoting my lyrics and I thought, she has to be doing that ironically, she has to be making fun of me...I have this big loser complex from school,” she said.
"Then we met in person...and we've been best friends ever since,” added Swift.
