New Delhi: Censor Board's decision to cut kissing scenes short in the new James Bond film Spectre has not gone down well with Twitteratis.
Following the reports that the Censor Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has issued the films a ‘UA' certification after four cuts, Twitter was abuzz with jokes with a hashtag #SanskariJamesBond.
According to reports, CBFC has given two audio and two video cuts in Daniel Craig starrer film. Both the visual cuts are passionate kisses of Craig with his female co-stars which have been cut short by 50%. The Censor Board decided that Indian audience can only handle a kiss of half of its original length.
As per a report in DNA, “The censor board had nothing against James Bond kissing. But the length of the kisses was found to be unnecessarily excessive.”
Censor Board also objected to the use of ‘F' word and ‘a**hole' was also cut out of the film.
