New Delhi: Hollywood actor Richard Gere met Prime Minister Narendra Modi here on Monday.

The Amircan actor gifted a bunch of flowers and a Tibetan Khata (scarf) to the Prime Minister.
The 65-year-old star of films like "American Gigolo" and "Pretty Woman", is an ardent devotee of the Dalai Lama. He is also the Global Envoy of International Buddhist Confederation.
Richard Gere is also the chairman of his non-profit organization Gere Foundation set up to help the displaced people of Tibet.
