Los Angeles: The profits made by late Paul Walker's movie "Hours" will be donated to the actor's Reach Out WorldWide organisation.

Producers of "Hours", which released in the US last week, have confirmed that they will be donating a portion of the film's box office revenue to Walker's charity, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

Even executives at Universal Pictures have confirmed that they will donate a portion of the proceeds from the DVD release of "Fast & Furious 6" to the actor's charity.

"With the passing of Paul, the world has lost a man who spent a great deal of his life in service to others. We share in the deep grief of his family, friends and the countless fans who love him," said Universal Pictures chairman Donna Langley.

"We keep Paul's memory alive and honour his legacy through continued support of Reach Out WorldWide, the non-profit (charity) he founded to give hope to those who must rebuild after they have experienced natural disasters," she added.

The "Fast & Furious" star died in a crash after a charity car show in Santa Clarita, California Nov 30. He was 40.
