New York, Oct 3: Chat show queen Oprah Winfrey has topped Forbes magazine's list of highest paid women by earning $165 million between May 2011 to May 2012.
Winfrey's net worth is estimated around $2.7 billion and she seems to be earning despite struggling to establish her network OWN. She was also named the highest paid celebrity for the fourth year in a row by the magazine. The second spot went to Britney Spears, who has made a grand comeback with her judging stint on The X Factor.
The pop diva earned $58 million between May 2011 and May 2012, $107 million less than Winfrey. In third place is country sweetheart Taylor Swift. She earned an estimated $57 million between May 2011 and May 2012. At 22, Swift is the youngest woman on the list.
Pop princess Rihanna tied for fourth with chat show star Ellen DeGeneres at $53 million. Jennifer Lopez and Lady Gaga rounded off the top five list by earning $52 million.
