New Delhi: Nicki Minaj, Ariana Grande, Alicia Keys hypnotized the audience with their voice and outfits at MTV European Music Awards held in Glasgow on Sunday.
The prestigious music award was graced by not only the singing stars but few Hollywood celebrities also dazzled at the event.
MTV EMA honoured the singing talents from all around the world. The award is given in the field of music based on the votes pulled by the singers on official website of MTV.
The award ceremony was attended by Ed Sheeran, Ariana Grande, Tallia Storm, David Hasslehof, The Hunger Games fame Jena Malone among others. Veteran artist couple Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne also made their presence felt at the occasion.
Jourdan Dunn created frenzy with white frock and silver jewelry. The one singer who grabbed most attention with the dress and then the on-stage costume was Ariana Grande. The singer arrived in a black cut-out maxi dress with black heeled sandals.
Alicia Keys showed off her baby bump in a glittering silver gown. The happy couple Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne posed for camera wearing suits. David Hasslehof arrived in a traditional Scottish outfit fitting the location of the event.
Nicki Minaj swapped her dress many a times during the show. She opened the show with a jaw dropping revealing outfit and then chaged it into red and all white cut-out frock. She even showed off her golfing talent at the stage in a tight white sport outfit. She then changed into a mini dress, a floor length gown and then a black and white dress with long cape.
All boy band One Direction made it big at the MTV European Music Awards winning three awards in main category and two in regional. The band was not in the presence to receive the award.
Another surprise at the show was the band called 5 Seconds of Summer. The group popularly called boy band in media circuits won 3 awards at the event including Best New and Artist on The Rise.
Female artists led the award by winning best song, best hip hop and best video. Ariana Grande, Katy Perry did pretty well winning two awards each.
The biggest disappointment for Eminem's fans was that the rapper failed to win any award at the show.
