Los Angeles: “Transformers” director Michael Bay is reportedly in talks with Paramount Pictures to direct “13 Hours", an adaptation of Mitchell Zuckoff's eponymous book.
Scripted by Chuck Hogan, the story of the film deals with the attack on an American compound in Benghazi, Libya, Sep 11, 2012, that left US Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens dead, reports hollywoodreporter.com.
Bay will negotiate his genre from a toy tentpole to a Benghazi political drama.
He last directed the fourth part of “Transformers” franchise “Age of Extinction”, which released Jun 19, 2014.
