Actors Aamir Khan and Matt Damon match their star appeal in an international video. Joining them are actors Gerard Butler, Jessica Alba, Salma Hayek, Kareena Kapoor, Irrfan Khan and Nandita Das, says a report.

They, along with other celebs such as Rahul Dravid, Zinedine Zidane, Hilary Clinton and Mick Jagger, are rooting for `1 Goal: Education for All', an international campaign to make education a reality for 72 million out-ofschool-children by 2015.

“We approached Aamir because he's a huge star and would help us create a substantial following. One of the international versions stars him and Matt Damon,“ says Zeenat Saberin of 1 Goal. K'Naan's popular song, Wavin Flag, is the background score for the video.

Aamir says he is happy to be associated with the cause. “Yes, I have shot for the 1 Goal campaign and I believe that it is using my video for their international version,“ says the actor.

Actress Kareena Kapoor has also launched a website to promote the global cause. “Education is close to my heart. And 1 Goal is a global platform that works with world leaders towards education for all. This drew me to the platform,“ Kapoor explains.

Global Campaign for Education, which is behind the initiative, plans to gather 72 million signatures on their website, and present them to world leaders at a UN Summit, to be held this September.
