Los Angeles, Jan 3 :Actress Jennifer Lawrence, who got an Oscar nomination for her performance in "Winter's Bone", believes an actors' job is not as important as that of a doctor for instance.
"Not to sound rude, but acting is stupid. Everybody's like, 'How can you remain with a level head?' And I am like, 'Why would I ever get cocky? I am not saving anybody's life. There are doctors, who save lives and firemen who run into burning buildings. I'm making movies. It's stupid," contactmusic.com quoted Lawrence as saying.
Despite being a star, the 22-year-old sometimes get starstruck.
"Once I am obsessed with somebody, I am terrified of them instantly. I am not scared of them, I am scared of me and how I will react.
"For instance, one time someone was introducing me to Bill Maher, I saw Meryl Streep walk into the room and I literally put my hand right in Bill Maher's face and said, 'Not now, Bill!' and I just stared at Meryl Streep," she said.
